Biography
Dr. Amit Kumar Maurya is an Assistant Professor in Plant Pathology at the College of Agriculture Sciences, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, U.P., India. He holds a BSc from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Awadh University, Faizabad, an MSc in Plant Pathology from Narendra Dev University of Science and Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad, and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from SHUATS, Prayagraj. He clears the ICAR-ASRB NET in 2018. Dr. Maurya has over 10 years of research experience focusing on mushroom cultivation and disease management, diseases of field and horticultural crops, mycology, plant nematology, organic farming, and integrated disease management. He authors 10 books, publishes 28 peer-reviewed research papers, writes 90 popular science articles (in Hindi and English), and contributes 40 book chapters. He serves as the editor of the Hindi magazine Grameen Vikas Sandesh and delivers radio talks to promote agricultural awareness.
