Research Interests

My research is shaped within the framework of Ottoman history, and it is particularly concentrated on biography writing, manuscript works, and the history of Ottoman diplomacy.

Biography

As a researcher working in the field of Ottoman history, I focus my work particularly on biography, manuscripts and diplomatic history. In my research on Ottoman intellectual life, bureaucratic traditions and international relations, I try to re-read historical events through individuals by taking archival documents, manuscripts and period sources as a basis.
