Biography
Miriam Broncano-Bolzoni, PhD, is a Nurse and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Girona. She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, Biomedicine and Health (2020, Cum Laude), and postgraduate training in Health Promotion and in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. She is currently pursuing the Master’s Degree in Health Management and Planning for Healthcare Directors (European University). With more than fifteen years of clinical experience in the Mental Health and Addictions Network of the Institut d’Assistència Sanitària, she has worked in acute, child and adolescent, and dual-pathology inpatient units, and currently works in community mental health care. She has participated in competitive projects funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III and the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia.
