Biography
Dr. M. M. Sheikh is Associate Professor and Head, Department of Geography, Govt. Lohia P.G. College, Churu, (Rajasthan) MGS University, INDIA. Dr Sheikh started his career with the Indo-German Kfw water and sanitation project in Churu, Rajasthan, India. About 43 papers and 08 books have been published. The main thrust areas are environmental issues, natural resource management, and biodiversity and rainwater issues in the desert area. Dr. Sheikh visited Germany, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, UK, USA, China, and Egypt. He is the member of 21 national and international academic bodies. 08 students awarded a Ph.D. degree under his supervision. He has also completed 09 major and minor research projects. Dr. Sheikh was also College review member of UKRI, UK.
