Biography

Nurali Muhamadiev is a Professor of Physical and Colloid Chemistry and Head of the Department of Physical and Colloid Chemistry. He holds a DSc. degree in Physical Chemistry and has over forty years of experience in academic research and higher education. His scientific interests encompass chromatographic modeling and optimization, synthesis of sorbents and catalysts, nanomaterials, quantum dots, and physicochemical analysis, with applications in environmental monitoring, industrial processes, and analytical chemistry. His work combines experimental investigation with mathematical and thermodynamic modeling to advance separation technologies and functional materials. Professor Muhamadiev has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles, along with monographs and textbooks, and is the inventor or co-inventor of several patented technologies. In parallel, he is actively engaged in mentorship, academic leadership and supervising postgraduate researchers.
