Biography
Dr. Mohammed Yunus is currently an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Umm al-Qura University and previously worked as a Professor and PG Coordinator at PG (Thermal Power Engineering) and Mechanical Engineering Faculty, H.K.B.K.College of Engineering, Bangalore. Presently, he is handling UG and PG classes having total experience of 23 years of Teaching and 03 years of Industrial experience (Part time). He has a wealth of experience in Finite Element method, design, analysis, optimization of mechanical systems, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Genetic Programming, Thermal Barrier Coating development and characterization, developing testing methodology for newer methods, Optimization techniques and handled short term courses on HVAC, MATLAB, Primavera, CFD, Firefighting, Taguchi and ANOVA tools, CAE tools.A member of IAEME and ISTE, and published more than 100 papers in national and international scholarly journals and acquired 2 US patents.
