Biography
Professor in the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and in the Postgraduate Program in Applied Chemistry (PPGQ) at the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). As a researcher, he works in the Research Group Laboratory of Language, Argumentation and Assessment in Scientific Education (LAAEC), in the following lines of research: (1) Multimodal assessment and social semiotics; (2) Argumentation; (3) Philosophy of Language. Through Ludwig Wittgenstein's perspective of language, he investigates argumentation and meaning in the learning of Chemistry, as well as the role of pedagogical practices in this process.
Education
Bachelor's degree and teaching degree in Chemistry, from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), Master's degree in Education in Science and Mathematics from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), PhD in Education from the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo (USP).
