MOUNI ROY
Assistant professor, Department of Chemistry · Banasthali Vidyapith
Research Interests
Material Chemistry: Synthesis and application in water remediation, photocatalysis, catalysis, sensing
Biography
Dr. Roy's research topic is mainly based on porous materials and their application in water remediation and catalysis. She is also currently working on some advanced semiconductor-based porous materials towards exploiting easily available solar spectrum for synthesizing some industrially important compounds. Apart from this she is interested to work on luminescent materials for their application in sensing purposes. Dr. Roy had completed Sponsored SERB-NPDF Project (No. PDF/2017/000390) on Nanoporous Transition Metal Based Semiconductors towards Catalysis and in Electrochemical Applications, as sole PI. Currently, UGC funded sponsored research project (UGC-Start up grant) has also been approved in which she is working as Principal Investigator of the project. She is also associated with many reputable international journals as editorial board members and has received few international as well as national awards along with few professional recognitions.
