Biography
I am a Doctor of Educational Guidance and Counselling (with a speciality in school and mental health counselling). My academic credentials include a PhD in Educational Guidance and Counselling, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Educational Guidance and Counselling and a Teachers' National Certificate in Education. I began my career as a University Counsellor in 2011 at the University of Ilorin Counselling and Human Development Centre, where I gained valuable experience in university counselling centre operations as well as counselling experience with a diverse group of undergraduates over five years. I like teaching, advocating, organizing and overseeing practicum activities, performing community service, and conducting research. In addition, I have successfully supervised several undergraduate projects. I am mostly interested in research that is both innovative and development-oriented.
