Biography
Dr. Mukesh Nitharwal is an Assistant Professor of Entomology with over 14 years of research, teaching, and extension experience in agricultural entomology. Based at the Rajasthan Agricultural Research Institute in Jaipur, he works under the All India Network Project on Soil Arthropod Pests. He holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from SKN Agriculture University, Bikaner. Dr. Nitharwal specializes in the management of insect pests i.e. white grub, Holotrichia consanguinea and in crops such as green gram, cotton, and tomato, with a focus on bio-rational and sustainable practices. He has conducted several production validation trials for agricultural companies and has guided postgraduate students in field-based entomology research. His contributions include numerous publications in national and international journals, book chapters, and active peer reviewing for several scientific journals.
