Nina Gogate

Biography

With graduation in French Literature and Post Graduate studies, M.Phil and Ph.D in Translation Studies, Dr Nina Gogate is associated with various fields of study related to the French language, including Translation and Interpretation, Literature, Culture Studies, Linguistics and FLE. She is a teacher of French, a practicing translator of both literary and technical texts and an interpreter. Her research areas include Translation Studies, Women's Writing and FLE. She has presented papers, published articles and taught courses related to these areas. She is currently engaged in research on postcolonial translation of women's writing, FLE for non Anglophone learners and the translation of contemporary Marathi literature in to French.
