Biography
Executed external funded research projects which include NAIP 2273.9 Lakhs; India –UK 100.6 Lakhs; Outreach 71.0 Lakhs NAE 121.0 Lakhs; ICAR-ILRI 75.0 Lakhs; Network 60.0 Lakhs etc. with total fund support of ₹ 2742.5 Lakhs for conducting research in high priority area of Diagnostics for Animal Health, Food Safety, AMR, Zoonotic Pathogens, Monitoring/Surveillance of Environmental Pollutants & Contaminants. Biosensors (POCs) tests were developed for detection of Mastitis, L. monocytogenes, Coliform, Enterococci, AMR Pathogens (E. coli). Kits were developed using spores as biosensor for antibiotics, pesticides, heavy metal, aflatoxin M1. Work was carried out on AMR surveillance and concept was developed for detection of antibiotic resistant E.coli. These Innovations were protected through grant of 8 patents and 2 were published. Technologies were licensed & commercialized for field application with revenue generation of ₹ 68.0 Lakhs.
