Biography
Dr Nyasha Makuve obtained her PhD (Chemistry) from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa in 2020. Additionally, she has also obtained certificates of Full Registration and Accreditation for Assessor and Moderator under the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) Act No 24 of 2013. She joined the University of Botswana in 2021 as an Inorganic Lecturer in the Chemistry Department. She is an affiliate member of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), member of Chemical Society of Botswana and Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) full member since 2021. Her research area focuses on design , synthesis and catalytic application of organometallic compounds and metal organic frameworks.
