Biography

Professor of the postgraduate programs in Education and Diversity and Physical Education at the Department of Human Sciences, Campus IV, at the State University of Bahia (UNEB). Leader of the Study, Research and Extension Group in Special Educatio Leader of the Study, Research and Extension Group in Special Education and Adapted Physical Education (GEPEFA) and member of the Study Group on Inclusive Education and Special Educational Needs (GEINE). I have experience in Education with an emphasis on Physical Education, where I focus my studies on the following themes: Public Policies and Management in Physical Education, Sports and Leisure; Sports History; Pedagogical Research and Practice; Psychological Foundations of Education; Teaching Work Conditions; Special Education and Adapted Physical Education. I am currently editor in chief of the academic journal Diálogos e Diversidade (https://revistas.uneb.br/index.php/rdd/index).
