Biography
She received her B.A. in History from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2011. She completed her M.A. at Akdeniz University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of History in 2014 with a thesis entitled “The Transcription and Evaluation of Antalya Sharia Court Register No. 35 (H. 1309–1311).” She earned her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2020 with a dissertation titled “Smuggling Activities in the Eastern Mediterranean Ports in the Second Half of the Nineteenth Century (Antalya, Alanya, Beirut, Mount Lebanon).” She is a historian specializing in Ottoman and Mediterranean history. Since 2023, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Karabük University. Her research interests include Early Modern Ottoman history, urban history, and Mediterranean studies.
