Biography
PhD in Linguistics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Between 2008 and 2023, he researched topics in Language Acquisition and Computational Linguistics. Since 2024, his research interests have focused on pragmatics, communication, and language acquisition, using theoretical, experimental, and computational approaches to describe pragmatic aspects of linguistic knowledge and speakers’ verbal interactions, as well as the development of pragmatic knowledge in children. He leads projects and university extension courses on Nonviolent Communication and is an internationally certified instructor with the Center for Nonviolent Communication (USA).
