Paulo Fernando Simões

Biography

Paulo Fernando Pereira Fabião Simões, was born in Coimbra in 1971. He was a cultural animator and tour guide for 7 years at the INATEL Foundation. He takes on the functions of Program Manager and Tourist Events, Consultant and Trainer at the same Foundation. In 2013 and 2014 he worked as a trainer in the professional technical courses in Tourism at the IEFP of Coimbra. Degree in European Studies in the field of History and Culture and Master in Leisure, Heritage and Development by the University of Coimbra. In 2015 he completed his PhD in Tourism, Leisure and Culture in the field of Tourism and Development at the University of Coimbra. In 2016 he is integrated as a researcher with a doctorate at the CEGOT-Center for the Study of Geography and Spatial Planning at the University of Coimbra. He has several scientific publications in the UC Impactum Journals-Cadernos de Geografia and contributions in the UC Digitalis of the University of Coimbra.
