Biography
Pharmacist Soliu Abiola ATUNWA (Ph.D.) is an aspiring, bright and promising young researcher. He is a passionate, upcoming scientist and astute lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He has keen interests in Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences (Neuropsychopharmacology); Ethnopharmacology/Drug Discovery, Design & Development; Public (Mental) Health/Pharmacoepidemiology; Pharmacology Education, Neuroscience Advocacy & Science Communication; and Community Pharmacy Practices. He is currently a Visiting Researcher to the Centre for Natural Products Discovery (CNPD), School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, UK. His main research focus is to discover and develop novel therapeutics from natural products and rich Nigerian medicinal plants biodiversity for the management of neurodegenerative and neurological disease conditions with bias in dementia
