Biography

Degree in Social Communication (Journalism) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007), a teaching degree in Portuguese Language from Universidade Candido Mendes (2008), a master’s degree in Language and Literature from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2010), a PhD in Language Studies from Fluminense Federal University (2014), and a research residency at the National Library Foundation (2014–2016). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at UFF, in addition to working as an editor and translator. He has experience in the field of Language and Literature, with an emphasis on Discourse Analysis, mainly working on the following topics: discourse analysis, history of linguistic ideas, history of the book, applied linguistics, and linguistics. Historical materialism as a principle, fatherhood as life, the workers’ revolution as a horizon.
