Biography
I Dr. Prashant Basavaraj Bhagawati have been awarded Ph.D, in Environment Engineering from civil engineering department of Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot Karnataka. My core research area pertains to water and wastewater treatment. My thesis title is “Electrochemical Treatment of pulp and paper mill wastewater”. I have received IEI Young Engineers Award for the 2020-21 in Environmental Engineering discipline.Happy to share that currently working as “Coordinator” for “ K-tech New Age Incubation Network (NAIN)” Sanctioned grant of Rs.150 lakhs (three Years), from Karnataka Innovation & Technology Society Government of Karnataka.I have received project grant of rupees eighteen lacs under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (DST). I had an opportunity to do collaborative research work with CSIR - Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu, (CSIR-CECRI) as Principal Investigator under DST project.
