Biography

He is currently Associate Professor in the Undergraduate Course in Statistics at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME) at UFG and Director of Socio-Academic Indicators at the Dean of Student Affairs (PRAE) at UFG. He has experience in the areas of Mathematics and Statistics, with an emphasis on Statistics, working mainly on the following subjects: teaching statistics, non-parametric statistics, biostatistics, functional data analysis and statistical modeling. He also has experience in management, having been research project coordinator, extension project coordinator, undergraduate course coordinator and mainly with resource allocation management of the National Student Assistance Program (PNAES).

Education

He holds a degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), a Masters in Statistics from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a PhD in Statistics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE).
