Dr. Sambaditya Raj is a seasoned Design Technologist and academic leader with over two decades of expertise spanning textile processing, sustainable fashion innovation, surface design, and fashion communication. Currently serving as Professor, Deputy Director, and Head at the Amity School of Fashion Technology, Amity University Rajasthan, he integrates advanced design technologies with traditional craft knowledge to create future-oriented, sustainable design solutions. His professional journey bridges academia, research, and industry—from steering textile processing units to leading academic programmes, pioneering curriculum development, and mentoring research scholars. His work explores AI-driven sustainability, natural dyes, textile testing, trend forecasting, and craft documentation, reflected through multiple Scopus-indexed publications, book chapters, and national/international conference contributions.
