Biography
Professor at University of São Paulo, with a bachelor's degree in oceanography and MSc and PhD in geophysics, I worked as an Associate Research Scientist at Lamont-Doherty from Columbia University for almost three years, where I also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist for two and a half years. I also have a two-years post-doc from the International Ocean Drilling Project (São Paulo State University, UNESP) and a seven-months post-doc at University of São Paulo. I am specialized in oceanic research, primarily on crustal modeling from gravimetric and seismic data. Some specific points that I have been working on: modeling of salt structures in oceanic basins; modeling of the crust-mantle interface; modeling of the oceanic basement; flexure and isostatic state of the lithosphere; satellite oceanography
