Biography
Rafael Royo Pastor (Valencia, 1962) is PH in Mechanical Industrial Engineering and Professor by the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. He has taught thermal related subjects from 1987: fundamentally Internal Combustion Engines and Heat Transfer. From 2009 year he participates at the Official Master of the Energy Engineering Institute about Sustainable Development, teaching the subjects “Energy Optimization of Industrial Installations”, and “New Energy Technologies for Buildings”. He is responsible for the Research Collaboration between the UPV and the Studies Department of Renault Spain, from 1993. He is too responsible for the Energy Simulation Group of the Energy engineering institute, carrying projects for important companies as ACCIONA and ASSYCE. From the year 2000, he carries out continuous work in the infrared thermography field, in training and research at advanced applications.
