Biography

Rubén Nieto is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics, Materials Science and Engineering and Electronic Technology at Rey Juan Carlos University. He is involved in teaching of Hospital Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Automatic Control I and Analog Electronics and his main research interests include robotics, cloud computing, FPGAs, System-on-Chip, among others. He received his formation at the University of Alcalá, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree and his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electronics: Advanced Electronic Systems and Intelligent Systems. After obtaining his PhD, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the same University. * Interests: - System-on-Chip - Signal Processing - Embedded Systems - Robotics - Sensor Networks - Multi-core Processor - Power-Line Communications - Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring
