Associate Professor Dr Ruzman Md Noor

Biography

Dr. Ruzman Md Noor is an Associate Professor at Department of Shariah and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya Kuala Lumpur, where he specializes in the Islamic Law of Evidence, Comparative Law of Evidence, Islamic Judiciary System, Comparative International Law and Islamic Legal Reform. Graduated with Bachelor degree in Shariah University Of Malaya (UM), Master Of Comparative Law and PhD from AIKOL, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) . His research projects have largely been focused on Islamic legal reform in selected ASEAN countries with special reference to Islamic Evidence and Islamic Judiciary System. Editorial Board member for several Legal Journals in Malaysia and Indonesia including KANUN Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka (DBP) Malaysia. He has also served as Visiting Researcher in the Centre for Asian Legal Studies, Faculty Of Law, National University Singapore (NUS) from November 4, 2013 – March 13, 2014.
