Biography

Dr. Sankha Chakrabortty, Assistant Professor, School of Biotechnology/Chemical Technology, KIIT Deemed to be University, is a distinguished researcher in the fields of Environmental Engineering, Membrane Technology, and Green Technology. Dr. Chakrabortty is a former DST INSPIRE Fellow and DST-National Post-Doc Fellow with more than ten years of experience in water treatment and energy technology. He is collaborating with a number of high-profile Indian professors and scientists, as well as professors from South Korea and the United States. He has published his study in more than 37 SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals with high impact factors, and he has filed six patents based on his research advancement, one of which was awarded last year. Dr. Chakrabortty also shared twelve book chapters. As a Co-Editor, he has recently published one book. For his research contributions, he has received 15 awards/achievements and certificates from various organisations.
