As an academician she has proficiency in General microbiology, Medical microbiology, Immunology,recombinant DNA technology and environmental microbiology. Her research expertise encompasses versatile topics like human genomics, cancer genetics and epigenetics, gene expression regulation and environmental microbiology. She has teaching experience of more than four years and research experience of three years.
