Biography
He is working as an Assisociate Professor I in Mathematical and Computational Sciences under the Physical Sciences Division at the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, Guwahati, India. Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur (July 2018–June 2019) and at SRM University AP–Amaravati (July 2017–May 2018) and was an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, during February 2015 to July 2017. He received his PhD (September 2014) in Mathematics and Master of Science (May 2009) in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. His research area includes tsunami modelling using acoustic-gravity waves, wave-structure interaction problems, flow through porous, poroelastic, and viscoelastic media, hydroelasticity, wave blocking, and analogue gravity.
