Biography
I did PhD in Photon Atom Interactions in X-Ray Region and their applications in elemental analysis. My research work focused on the understanding of X-rays scattering cross sections (coherent an Incoherent), chemical shift in K-shell, measurement of thickness of thin films/nano materials. The knowledge of scattering cross sections carry information about the molecular structure of the tissue and hence can be used to identify changes occurs in the tissues. I am working in worldly famous EDXRF research group under the leadership of Dr. D. Mehta, Professor, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Our research group developed technique to measure the thickness of thin film using EDXRF-setup and this reports published in reputed Journal; Vacuum [IF- 3.627]. We have also used EDXRF and WDXRF techniques to check the elemental concentration of uranium in fly-ash and coal samples of Thermal Power Plant and also for elemental analysis of the thin films and nano materials.
