Biography

Seow Ai Na has over 25 years of corporate working experience before becoming an academician. She earned her MBA from Heriot-Watt University in the UK. In her early years, she was associated with the education industry and trained in accounting and business management. After gaining her professional qualification as a chartered company secretary from The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) in the UK, she joined consulting firms to offer company secretary, tax and audit services. Later, she moved to the commercial sector, where she gained experience in strategic planning, operations management, business development and retail management. She earned her PhD and currently works at the University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Perak Campus, Malaysia. Her scientific research interests include health tourism, tourists' behaviour, educational studies and small and medium enterprises. She has published many papers in research journals with a high impact factor.
