Biography
Dr. Shiva Prakash S. is a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru, with over 23 years of professional experience encompassing 20 years in teaching and nearly 3 years in industry. Ph.D. from the University of Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bengaluru, with research focused on metal matrix composites, Al8011-based hybrid composites reinforced with B₄C and MWCNTs, mechanical, tribological and corrosion behavior. He holds an M.Tech. in Tool Engineering from the Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC), Bengaluru, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Sir Siddhartha Institute of Technology, Tumkur, both with First Class. His academic contributions include curriculum design, course coordination, and active roles as a member of the Board of Studies (BOS) and Board of Examination (BOE).
