Biography
Sidra Munir (pen name: Cydrah Asad) is a Pakistan-based zoologist, PhD researcher, and interdisciplinary scientific writer specializing in wildlife conservation biology, non-invasive health monitoring, and plant-derived therapeutics. Her doctoral research focuses on population assessment, habitat evaluation, and physiological health monitoring of the Punjab urial (Ovis vignei punjabiensis) using integrative zoological and molecular approaches. Her research combines field ecology, laboratory experimentation, and evidence-based reviews, with particular emphasis on herbal bioactives (e.g., Salvia hispanica, Ocimum basilicum), hyperlipidemia models, environmental toxicology, and wildlife health biomarkers.
