Biography

I am pursuing my PhD research in agricultural entomology from OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and conducting my research at ICAR-NRRI Cuttack, on the molecular and biochemical aspects of Insecticide resistance in rice brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal). Here I am exploring the resistance status of BPH along with the molecular cause (genes) of resistance and enzymes responsible for xenobiotic detoxification of insecticides inside the insect body, which causes the excretion of chemicals in a simpler form after degradation via several important metabolic pathways. I am very much interested and highly enthusiastic about collaborating with leading authors across the world for scientific writings to contribute a little from my side to the scientific society.
