Norfaizal Jamain

Biography

Dr. Norfaizal possesses a PhD in Malay language teaching and learning and has significant experience teaching Malay as a second or foreign language. He began his career at the University of Malaya's Centre for Continuing Studies in 2011, then joined the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics in 2014, where he remains. Teaching diverse students from diplomatic, corporate, entrepreneurial, and governmental backgrounds honed his expertise in teaching Malay to foreign speakers. He became a reference for stakeholders, whether local or foreign universities that offer Malay language courses, to obtain views and guidance related to learning the Malay language both within and outside the country.
