Biography

Dr. Sukumar Nandi is Senior Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India in 1995. He was a visiting Senior Fellow at NTU, Singapore during 2002–2003. He has published more than 300 papers in reputed journals and conferences. He is a Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Senior Member of ACM, Senior Member of IEEE, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers(India) and Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India). His research interests include traffic engineering, wireless networks, information security, computer architecture and algorithms, VLSI design and testing.
