Biography

DR. Surabhi Bajpai is associated with Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Banasthali Vidyapith since 2015, presently working as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. After her MSc (2004) from C.S.J.M. University, she did studies on connexins the gap junction proteins in diabetic wound healing using STZ induced diabetic mice model and also fibroblasts cells(NIH 3T3) at Department of BIochemistry,Banaras Hindu University, India (Mentor: Dr. R. K. Singh) since 2007 and awarded PhD from BHU, Banaras Hindu University (2011). She has keen interest in mechanisms underlying delayed wound healing in diabetes and she is now focusing on the treatment strategies.During her post PhD short tenure of 6 months as CSIR extended SRF at BHU she also taught Biochemisty and Instumentation and techniques to PG diploma students at Center for Genetic Disorder.
