Biography
Born in Madrid (Spain), the artist has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, UCLM (Cuenca) since 2001, where she leads the research group “Fuzzy Gab.4”, focused on the recovery of the electroacoustic music fonds of the GME (legacy of international composers led by Gabriel Brnčić), alongside research into human–computer interfaces and interactive installations. Since the early 1990s, her work has explored the intersection between visual and sound practices through digital media—central to her PhD (Universidad Complutense de Madrid)—developing both individual and collaborative projects. Her trajectory includes research stays at ZKM (Karlsruhe), Riverbed (New York), i-DAT (Plymouth) and EMS (Stockholm), and her work has been widely presented internationally in institutions such as MNCARS, ZKM, CCCB, ARCO, Sonar, UNAM, MEIAC, Neue Galerie Graz, Instituto Tomie Ohtake and others across Europe and the Americas.
