Biography
Tamar Shuali Trachtenberg is a senior lecturer at the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir, Faculty of Teachers Education and Pedagogy . Dr. Shuali is the director of the European Institute of Education for Democratic Culture of the UCV and the head researcher of the Citizenship Cultural Diversity and Education research group. She holds a Ph.D. in Pedagogy, MA degree in Peace conflict and Development Studies.( University Jaime I Castellon) and MA in Theory of Education (ValenciaUniversity) . She is currently leading the JRC-UCV research project of Addressing Educational neds of Teachers in the EU for inclusive education in the context of Diversity ( INNO4DIV. Since 2020, Dr. Shuali forms part of the CoE working group on Reference framework of Competences for Democratic Culture and the founder and the co -Director of the Simone Veil Chair for the prevention of Racism , Antisemitism and enhancement of Interculturality in the Complutense University in Madrid
