Biography

Dr. Tarun Kumar, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, received his Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Narender Nagar (Tehri Garhwal), and Uttarakhand, in 1996, Bachelor’s Degree (AMIETE) in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), New Delhi in year 2003 and, M.Tech. in Communication Systems & Signal Processing from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida (U.P) in 2008. He has completed his Ph.D. from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida (U.P) in 2017 with his research area being Electromagnetic Metamaterials. He has 3 years of Industry experience and 14 years of academic experience. His research interests include Electromagnetic Metamaterials, Electromagnetic Scattering, Microstrip Antennas and Electromagnetic Sensors.
