Biography
Dr. Vivoto Tsukru is a researcher and Sports Anthropometrist affiliated with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) at the Netaji Subhash Southern Centre in Bengaluru. He hails from Kohima, Nagaland. With over a decade of experience in anthropological fieldwork and more than 13 years of expertise in taking and recording anthropometric measurements, he has established himself as a dedicated scholar in the field of biological anthropology and sports science. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, His doctoral research, titled “Body Composition and Physiological Characteristics of Naga Wrestlers of Nagaland,” reflects his strong commitment to integrating indigenous knowledge systems with contemporary sports science research. His areas of research interest include kinanthropometry, biodemography, nutritional epidemiology, physiological epidemiology, growth and development studies, tribal studies, sports performance analysis, and aging.
