Biography

Mr. Vasishtan P is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Tamil Nadu National Law University, Tiruchirappalli, since January 2023. Prior to joining TNNLU, he was freelancing as a technology lawyer advising start-ups and assisting law firms in this practice. He is also invited to deliver lectures and orientations at various institutions at UG and PG levels. He is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Vasishtan is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, a renowned NLU in India. His area of research is data protection and law. Post B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) in 2020 from TNNLU, Vasishtan enrolled into a full-time residential Fellowship, Daksha Fellowship with the Technology Law and Policy specialisation, as a full-scholarship recipient. To further his speciality in the field of technology laws and data protection, Vasishtan enrolled into HNLU, Raipur for an LL.M. in Technology and Law and secured two
