Biography
Full professor at the Social Science Department at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) Brazil. Teaching at the Phd programm in social science and in the master degree program in Cultural Heritage (2016-present). Professor at the Anthropology Department at the University of Buenos Aires (1998-2015), at the Antrhopology Department at the National University of San Martin (2006-2015) and at the National University of General Sarmiento (2006-2015). Visiting professor at the Antrhopolgy PHD Program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) (2014). Field research experiences among human rights organizations in Argentina and Brazil.
Education
PHD in Social Antrhopology at the Pos-graduate Programe in Social Antrhropology at Museu Nacional (PPGAS-MN) - Federal University at Rio de Janeiro UFRJ - Brazil. Master degree at same institution. Bachelor degree in social anthropology at the University of Buenos Aires. Pós-doctoral stage at the Social Science Laboratory at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris. France (2004, 2012 and 2014) under the supervision of Michel Offerlé. One semester at the sociology master degree at Purdue University (USA). Best Phd thesis (2006) and master dissertation (2000).
