Biography
Dr. Walid Dyab received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2014 from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, USA. From 2015 till 2018 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Poly-Grames Research Center, Polytechnique Montreal, Montreal, QC, Canada. In 2019, Dr. Walid joined the College of Engineering at PSU as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communications and Networks Engineering. In 2021, Dr. Walid established the Electromagnetics Research Group (emg.psu.edu.sa) to conduct research in applied electromagnetic theory. His research interests include satellite and wireless communications, antennas, wave propagation, radars and software-defined radio. Dr. Walid is a licensed Radio Amateur in KSA with call sign 7Z1EF.
