WALNEY SILVA ARAUJO

Biography

I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (1996), a master's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999), and a doctorate in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). He is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Ceará, coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Materials Science and Engineering and the Corrosion Research Laboratory. I have experience in materials and metallurgical engineering, with an emphasis on corrosion, and have worked mainly on the following subjects: anti-corrosion coatings, corrosion inhibitors, and electrochemical tests.
