Aquatic Resource Management
Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji
My name is Rohayuana, a student majoring in Water Resources Management at Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. I was born on the island of Mensanak on February 23, 2005, and since childhood I have had a keen interest in the aquatic environment, including the sea, rivers, and lakes. This interest led me to choose a major that focuses on the management and conservation of water resources, with the hope of making a real contribution to the preservation of aquatic ecosystems in Indonesia. During my studies, I learned about various important aspects such as aquatic ecology, coastal management, aquatic biota conservation, and sustainable management of fishery resources. I was also active in field practicum activities. In addition to academic activities, I was involved in student organizations and environmental activities such as mangrove planting and beach clean-up campaigns. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, and responsibility.
Student of Aquatic Resource Management
Aquatic Science, Oceanography, Environmental Science, Water Science and Technology
I am a student majoring in Water Resources Management at Raja Ali Haji Maritime University who is currently conducting monitoring of mangrove planting results carried out last May with my colleagues from the Coral scientific student group. This activity aims to observe the growth rate, survival rate, and environmental conditions around the planting area as part of an effort to evaluate the effectiveness of coastal ecosystem rehabilitation programs. Through this research, I hope to obtain scientific data that is useful for the sustainable management and conservation of mangroves, as well as to expand my network and collaboration with other researchers who are interested in coastal ecology, environmental conservation, and water resource management.
