COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLINE PURCHASING BEHAVIOUR IN TIRUNELVELI DISTRICT Abstract The study is grounded in a descriptive and analytical research design and focuses on college students in Tirunelveli District who have prior experience with online shopping. The population comprises undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in arts, science, commerce, engineering, and professional programmes across colleges in the district. Only students with actual online purchasing experience were included to ensure that the findings reflect authentic behavioural patterns rather than hypothetical perceptions. A snowball sampling technique was adopted to effectively reach eligible respondents, resulting in a final sample size of 385 students. This sample size is statistically adequate and appropriate for conducting advanced statistical analyses such as Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), multiple regression analysis, and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), thereby enhancing the reliability and robustness o
