Biography

Braxton Norwood PhD is a scientist-entrepreneur focused on transforming the diagnosis and treatment of human health disorders. Driven more by data and (potential) impact than by revenue or investment returns. I enjoy taking calculated risks and attacking big problems with creative solutions. Firm believer in responsible capitalism. Dr. Braxton Norwood is founder of four biopharma/medtech companies, served in executive/director roles, e.g. CEO and Director of R&D. I've led drug and radiotracer development from discovery to Phase II clinical trials. These ventures have been funded by public (NIH SBIR grants) and private (Angel and VC) sources. 20+ peer-reviewed scientific articles and multiple filed/granted patents. He enjoys rock climbing, aviation, and whisky (not simultaneously). https://lutrooimaging.com https://www.cake.me/me/braxton-norwood https://about.me/braxton.norwood
