Biography
Carmen Cavaco is an Assistant Professor at the Instituto de Educação da Universidade de Lisboa, with experience in the development of both graduate and undergraduate courses. She is a member of the Education Research and Development Unit (UIDEF), in education and training policies. She earned his Ph.D. in Science Education from the Universidade de Lisboa in 2009. She is the author of over many scientific publications and has supervised Post-Doc projects, PhD thesis and Master dissertations. Its main areas of teaching and research are adult education, adult education policies, non-formal and informal education, experiential learning, adults with low educational level and illiterate adults, validation and recognition of prior learning, and biographical approach. Involved in various research projects in adult education.

She earned his Ph.D. in Science Education from the Universidade de Lisboa in 2009.
