Research Interests
Marco Zimarino performs coronary intervention (particular interest in imaging, complex lesions, and adjunctive drug treatment) and structural intervention (aortic and mitral valve, closure of PFO).
Biography
Dr. Zimarino is a clinical and interventional cardiologist, with >30 years of working experience in Italy, France, USA, and Canada. He has been invited as faculty in major international and national clinical and interventional cardiology congresses. He edited 3 monographs, and coauthored 12 chapters of books in Italian, English, and French. He has >180 manuscripts currently referenced on Pubmed. He is the director of CCU and Cardiology Department at "SS. Annunziata" Hospital in Chieti (ASL 2 Abruzzo).
